Alan, I make a profit on Rambus almost every time I buy it. However, I buy it at the "wrong" price the majority of the time.
I don't care how experienced or lucky you are. Rambus is a humbling stock.
BTW, on a chart basis, Rambus is beginning to look very good. It's got fantastic balance of power readings, the money stream just moved above the moving average, and it has crossed the MACD signal line to the upside. In addition, it is back over the 13 day ema.
The semi conference and the positive move in the general market will move the stock to $82 area this week.
Of course, after that, who the hell really knows.
With that said, I have a modest position in Rambus at the moment. After the wild gyrations in this stock recently, I agree with you that there are better fish to fry until September. However, I can't survive without having at least a few shares. It's quite addictive.
