re: Double-helx.net. Perhaps it is a metaphor from Anne Rice's "Witching Hour" series. If two witches (rather, a witch and a warlock) mate and they each have the double-helix chromosone, the result is a Taltos with a gestation period of a few weeks. When born, the Taltos grows to full height (seven feet or more) within minutes. Sounds like Dell to me.
