Gene, Thanks for the statistics... These are lower than I had figured as well. Does this jive with the annual PC sales figures? If so then the average life of a PC is much shorter than I expected. There is lots of ways to under count here of course. For instance there are lots of company nets and small business installations that aren't on the Internet ostensibly, but are "connected" into local networks. If these nets have one Internet portal then they are "on the net" and still might not be visible to such counting. Also - Is is a good wag to assume that U.S. domestic is roughly 50% of world deployment (PC and nets)? Jeff
