"...Furthermore, some European firms, most notably Ericsson, have indicated an unwillingness to pay royalties to Qualcomm for 3G-related products..."

It's funny how comments like that continue to be made.

I popped into a car dealer the other day and said I wanted a car but was unwilling to pay for it. They told me to get lost. So I warned them that I would take them to court because when I was a kid, I invented a trolley, complete with wheels so those cars are actually mine. They told me to get off their property or they'd phone the police, which they did, who arrived and invited me to leave lest I be prosecuted for trespass or car theft if I didn't give the keys back and get out of the car.

How come commentators don't 'get it'?

But it's great to see the increasing press comment as per Jon's theory of media having to be commenting on the popular issues of the day. Now they all want to be in on it; 'we know that 3G, CDMA, Q! is the hot issue and we are pointing it out'.
