Excellent point: that's why I believe the PC will win in the war against TVs. Displaced TV sales translate into PC sales and this will be another win for Intel.

Note: specialized devices and appliances can be 2-way and interactive, depending upon the design.

Some may even be n-way, which is a significant advantage over the TV.

The more customers we get online, even if it's by an appliance, the more processing PC servers will be required at Corporate and that's where the nice margins are for PCs - it's good to increase the PC sales in Corporate. But let's forget appliances for a moment and let's consider the high-end specialized devices: the more specialized devices which are sold, the more PCs and chips to be sold from both ends.
