God bless America and my the Virgin Mary watch over the divine perfection of a SW1600 Flat Panel diplay. Now let's get pro active and boost Nine and SGI stock. My personal observations and objective visual tests of Monitors demonstrated to me that only 21" analog monitors operating at resolutions of 1800x1440 have almost, not quite, the same useable screen real-estate as a SGI SW1600. 18" flats at 1280x1024 don't come close. Two pages side by side. The cost of a Sony F500 monitor is 1879. Call comp usa direct at 1-800 646 6501 and ask for their latest, volume B9.8 Febuary 1999 circular. It has pages of flat panels (not the SGI). Look at the prices of 1280x1024 competitive flats. SGI dot pitch .23 No one comes close SGI contrast ration. 300 No one comes close SGI resolution 1600x1024. NO ONE ELSE. SGI has no current competition in resolution/size/price. Also ask why Compusa is not carrying the Number Nine digital flat panel solution pack. That's pro actively assisting the value of any SGI/Nine stock you own. Tom Watson tosiwme
