NEWS RELEASE March 4, 1999 VSE SYMBOL - "TRR" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- tnrvse.com SEC 12g3-2(b): Exemption #82-4434 CUSIP #872950-10-0 VSE:TRR STOCK OPTIONS The company wishes to advise that it has granted stock options to certain directors and employees of TNR Resources Ltd. entitling them to purchase up to 428,000 common shares of the capital stock in the company at a price of $0.22 per share. These options are exercisable up to the close of business of March 3, 2001. The exercise price represents the previous ten-day average price of TNR stock. The above is subject to regulatory approval.
