i asked mike retoric about eps for 97 and he stated that with the sale of congress they are very comfortable with the 85 number, and that once the deal was inked they might increase this figure. congress was penciled in at .20 to .25 per share compared to .58 from sale.he said that they would not even talk eps until deal was closed, that is now their only priority.
they have a list of possible targets but mtci is not on the list.
hope to be producing gold in second quarter of 97 but property is under 12 feet of snow right now. the roads need recut and some equipment needs to be brought in. mill is on sight as this was an operational mine.
i asked about the rumours about mohamed and congress legal problems, he stated that their attourneys are working with si to identify these individuals for possible legal action. elrod will not even state to gifs attourneys that they are under investigation. they have a legal order for elrod not to put out this info. they have voluntarily stopped doing business in 3 states. their lawyers still say that they did not violate any laws or rules. the sale of congress should end this hole elrod insurance/sureties debate.
looking to move toward amex listing after deal is closed. they would prefer this to small cap. several companies on their shopping list are on amex so reverse merger is an option if the deal is right. theywant to get a handle on all their current companies before tackling more, and of course right now the congress sale is the main thing they are working on. gett ing listed on amex or nasdac is stilla high priority but may have to wait till second half of 97. they want big six audit and good earnings as a first importance, listing is secondary but still very important.

as near as i can recall and read my notes this is fairly complete and accurate. sorry for bad spelling and typos, i need a secretary.
