I saw so much hype of Linux on CNN's(Microsoft haters) Moneyweek. It appears that Judge Jackson will be aware of all these developments and cannot possibily rule against Micrososft. Even if he does, it is surely to get overturned!! Once any sensible appeals panel looks at the dynamics of the software industry, they will criticise any rulings of Jackson (just like last time). In my opinion, MSFT's case is getting stronger by the day. Is it any wonder they have no interest in settling with the DOJ. I am not surprised. I cannot imagine a settlement---and I hope they don't bother trying. That inaction will speak volumes in expressing how strong their position is. On the day before the eventual judgement, I will be buying a lot of call options out of the money.---Plan to make a fortune. Once the earnings run up is over, I am going to get set for the decision this summer and am more optimistic than ever. I have not felt this confident since the start of the trial. I bet MSFT lawyers feel the same way!!!!!! By the way, Linux is all hype in my opinion and not a threat to MSFT.
