Coby, The Japanese are better producers and quality engineers than we are. We are better innovators, especially in medical technology. Sony, Canon, Toshiba. These guys make great stuff. And Toyota, Nissan and Honda simply make the world's finest cars, with all due respect to Mercedes, which makes a great car at 3 times the price. I've never cared much for the quality European cars, like Mercedes and Volvo, as they are too ugly for my pananche. <g> And I've always considered a Caddy an overpriced Chevy and has a horrible repair record for a car of that price. I tend to be attracted to the POSs, like Ferraris, Corvettes, Jaguars, Vipers. The Japanese seem to be the only ones who can make good and good looking go together, though the good looking is only in a few models. |
