Re: Freeze-ups: All I can say is that it is just too bad... It seemed that CYRIX had a technologically advanced product to beat INTEL. But with this history of freeze-ups, who is going to buy just because it's say $100 cheaper? The prices have come down so much and so has the differential. Why take the risk of a non-INTEL chip? (ans: only the techies who like to tinker). Perhaps other consumers have lost confidence as-well.
