Appointment of New President

James R. Brown, Chairman of MILL CITY GOLD MINING CORP. (MIY-VSE) is pleased to announce that the
Board of Directors have appointed Larry D. Revitt President of the Company, such appointment to be effective
immediately. Previously, Mr. Revitt was Vice-President/General Counsel and a director of the Company. Mr.
Brown remains Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Revitt obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary in 1980 and articled with the law firm of
McLaws & Company in Calgary, receiving his call to the Alberta Bar in June, 1981. After receiving his call to the
Bar, Mr. Revitt joined Crows Nest Resources Limited, a subsidiary of Shell Canada involved in coal exploration
and mining in Western Canada. In late 1984, Larry joined McLeod & Company, Barristers & Solicitors becoming
a partner in 1987 until his recent retirement at the end of May, 1996. During the past approximate 10 years, Mr.
Revitt has represented Mill City as legal counsel.

Mr. Revitt has practised primarily in corporate/commercial/securities law, part of which has included representing
companies, including Mill City and Golden Hill Mining Corp. (42 percent owned by Mill City), as publicly trading
Companies involved in the mining, exploration and development industry.

With exploration activities underway on all of the Company's major properties, the Company is anticipating an
interesting and exciting year.
