Actually Dell has offered a 15" LCD as an option on it's systems for some time now. A month or two back they added a 17" LCD, it basically DOUBLES the price of the average system. I'm pretty sure these are not IBM boxes, they might be Philips. In either case, you will probably see IBM devices being offered in the future. NEC, IBM, CPQ,
Nanao and Viewsonic offer 18" LCD's, but count on paying over 3k for one!!! The 15" device you priced can be bought standalone depending on manufacturer in a range of $900 - $1200...
