The warrant option can't be exercised after July 18, 1999. An expired warrant is worthless. Up to the expiration date the warrant is tradable like stock. Of course it's value is determined by the value of the common. Yes warrants you intend to execute take a chunk of cash on your part to pull off. Of course if the common is $15.00 it's worth borrowing the money to execute the warrants even if you sold them the next day.

However I don't see XYBR being 15 unless something changes here real quickly.....

I sold half my holdings in XYBR when it went over 5 and bought SYBR see what happens there :)
