I don't really know. You're probably close but it intuitively seems like a low number.
One billion connected PCs is starting to look like a rather difficult goal.
Mary has brought up the issue of semantics.
When Intel refers to a "connected PC" do they mean an X86 box or could it also mean, for example, a StrongArm machine. Is WebTV an appliance or a set-top PC? (It comprises a CPU, memory, display, OS, and optional K/B). Future versions will include a HD.
For now, I assume Intel means a WinTel PC.
