I think that when you start to unwind the big ball of thread that GATA is currently gnawing on, it will probably come down to the fact that the central banks and the fed have a very good reason to control the price of gold.

***Gold & silver cannot be created, destroyed, or inflated out of existence.

***Fiat currency can be created, nullified, and inflated out of existence by the CBs. They don't want the people (sheeple?) to catch on.

I have been thinking about this a lot. What happened to the good people of Russia, Korea, Thailand, Brazil, and Indonesia? They worked hard for many years, and saved the fruits of their labor in the form of local currency. They thought that the currency would serve as a store of value. But then the currency crisis came, and stole much of their life savings.....why? How?

Only because their were forced (by law) to use currency that is intrinsicly worthless. It cannot be redeemed for anything and has no direct tie to anything of value.

Just maybe a return to real money can help prevent this suffering.....

I think that this is a cause worthy of consideration by GATA. It would be a lofty goal.....not just to support the gold industry....but to provide the people of the world with a REAL store of value to protect their hard earned savings.......real money...HARD money!

Pls think about it!
