Sure, Kelly. MM's sometime sell amongst themselves to even out positions. Since they are wholesaling the stock, the prices they charge each other may have no real reflection on the RETAIL value of the stock.

If you look at REAL time and sales on Friday, they moved the bid/ask down 3 times after the open, even though there were no sales of any kind to justify that. I think it stinks and should get reported to the NASD by those who caught it. But I doubt it is actually illegal, so says Alan Coccio, and he would know.

Then I say oveer 50K of shares BOUGHT and only 2K sold, but the stock still did not budge.
