My children, their grandparents, all their school chums, and the Instant messenger feature. Gotta keep 'em together. They would have a major fit if I wanted to drop it altogether. If it came to a vote at our house, the AOL dialup would stay and the Roadrunner would go. My position: I own both athm and aol and think both will thrive. Incidentally, and not to sound too negative toward cable, but the effective speed increase is NOT 50 times a 28,800 connection. Cable will definitely show you how dependent you are on the server you are connecting too. That's where my bottlenecks are now. Brian
