That is why Paul warns:
1 Cor 11:10
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
If a woman protects herself with Christ as her Lord she will not be deceived by a fallen angel when they appear on this earth again.
So as to them being UFO visitors, I think not. They were truly angels created by God, and did in fact leave their heavenly habitation and came down to earth, and did have sex with the daughters of men...in general, women. And it is as you said, their offspring were giants, known as gibbor.
And also remember Gary, we were made in the image of God and the angels, that is also more evidence that the nephilim look like us, and not little green men... smile...
