Barry - Re: "AMD seems to be missing this channel." Judging by AMD CPU pricing on Pricewatch, AMD's K6-2 are becoming increasingly rare - with prices rising. It appears that they are shipping whatever they have to their OEM's and there is nothing left to go around. Also, K63 chips are 45% bigger than K62's, so ramping the K63 is going to be expensive and take away a lot of K62s from production. Paul
