Doug: One Big Winner in two years. The reason MVSI moved so much was more that I had hyped it so much that everyone had Limit orders set. When news hit, the price jumped, trigered limit order buys, added to the buying, ect, etc, etc..
Even the Daytraders where sitting and waiting for the news.
I will say this, you talked to me about TA so much during that time that I did not sell MVSI and held on till the hype and News came togather.
Pull up the list of Pick of the weeks. It is a sick thing to look at. We checked the fundies based on the TA choices we had to work with.
Maybe your style of TA is more based on several weeks move, then who knows.... I like mine to move as close to now, I know the out come much sooner that way.
Waiting several weeks to go sideways, down, up 5%, is not my Idea of good TA.
You know your TA. Just adjust it for the movers and not the hope and preys.
Shoot for the stars and settle for the moon. Not shoot for the clouds and hit dry land..
You know the TA. Just adjust to reality in 1999. People want movers. If it don't move, it is dropping.
