My first reaction to the story: Go PRLN, Go!

My second reaction to the story: Uh, oh. it looks like we're missing some details. I'm glad East West Herbs will be cooperating with PRLN to help them distribute AndroVir. PRLN can't do this on its own. Does PRLN intend to exersice its option to acquire EWH? The story said that distribution would start in the first half of 1997. Does this mean that their target shipping date has been delayed from March to June? How much will they charge for AndroVir? Is it still targeted for under $1000/year? Have they signed on any AIDS buyers groups? How many customers do they anticipate getting? What percentage of the price of the drugs will be profit that they could use to further experiments on AndroVir? What kind of cash flow do they envision?

So many questions left unanswered by the press release. I hope that that they answered enough questions, or else a certain individual who has the same initials I do might try to get the SEC on their case and sue the company for not fully disclosing their plans in the press release. :-) (Just Kidding--sort of)

Despite the questions, I think this press release is very good news. I also appreciate that the release was much more clearly written than previous releases. I think the change of PR firms will also help PRLN now and in the future.
