The world has moved on. Read Barron's.

Barron's is not the Holy Bible, in spite of what their ads may lead you to believe. Ask the good folks at thestreet.com to run down a litany of some of Barron's bad calls sometime.

Everyone has a three year lead on MSFT.

And have had it for ten years! So?

Interleaf 6 makes Word look like a crayon.

<spit-take>

INTERGRIEF!?!?!

LOLOLOLOL!!!!

Have you actually tried using that thing or are you just going by their literature?? Well, I use it and I can tell you it has earned the above nickname commonly used for it at our company. Just one example. A document was failing to print properly. The solution: rearrange the order in which file icons appeared in a directory window. I am not kidding!

Interleaf probably can do just about anything, in theory, but getting it to actually do it, that's the catch.

I think you are all too predisposed to overestimate Novell/Sun's prowess in making a successful product (do I really need to remind you how much those two have had their keisters handed to them in the past decade?) and similarly to underestimate Microsoft. That combined with your tendency to trash-talk makes you a rather unpleasant conversant here.

If Sun's vision is so right and Microsoft's so wrong, how did we ever get to where we are now?
