Dennis, I believe this thread mentioned that Berg is worth some $800 MM, putting up to 5% into a high potential situation ($40 MM, and I believe he is only up to some $20 MM) is quite rational for his account. People on this thread having more than 10% of their assets in VLNC have much greater confidence in VLNC's success than Berg has. People like Berg regularly will pluck $10 MM to $50 MM into start ups half of which fail and unless you can follow them into ALL their investments, there is no assurance that following them into one of these will be successful. They play the odds, they can afford to.

Because of the nature of my own work, some 75% of my assets are tied up in start up companies and I am quite positive that half will fail. I count on the other half to succeed, however.
