I agree, self promotion has the tendency to increase the stock price on a short term basis. Having people in the know, i.e. brokers, analysts, and even reporters interested in CVIA will prompt others to say "Hey, if they think CVIA has a good concept, business plan, potential etc., then maybe I should take a look (buy)." Then once you (CVIA) get noticed, others will want to hop on the bandwagon. Hopefully, creating a kind of snowball effect (i.e. interest generates more interest).
