Yes, and it seems to me that these camera-on-a-chip solutions don't address software issues. Ofcourse, this is something Neomagic needs to do as well. In other words, bringing a fast & tightly integrated hardware solution to digital camera companies is only half the battle. They have to bring in software development tools and system software platforms as well.
