B Interesting post, I have scanned the detailed geology map and posted it on my site (use the Lac Rocher link on the home page). Poor quality but you can see the granite that you refer to takes up most of the mapped area. To seem somewhat correct, erroneous Charters has wondered off on a VMS discussion. It has nothing to do with this discussion. Gary could have just as easily spun on about numerical modelling, with abundant detail, and plenty of correct info. I have posted numerous deposit models on my site for general info and discussion: www3.ns.sympatico.ca evidently a picture is work 10-20 thousand rambling words:-) Note the mineralization in the VMS model (Sphalerite.... because they are ZINC deposits), and that which dominates at NWI, Sudbury, Voisey. Clearly we are talking about two separate entities which makes the endless VMS model discussion and review of the nature channel entertaining, but no more pertinent! The DML/Falco/Noranda news should add another level of support here before any real drilling news. I suspect we will hear lots of rumors early at the PDA. L8R 1King
