Thanks for taking the time to do some DD. Regardless of what others may post on this thread the information you posted is excellent. Thanks for taking the time to investigate for yourselves. I did my own DD about 6 months ago and was satisfied. Yes, some of this information is repeated but that is great.
Wake up people for six months GIFS has been singing the same tune. They are not wishy-washy. They don't put out one story today and another story tomorrow. They are consistant in their goals and with what they are trying to achieve. I do not hear empty rhetoric, I hear the same goals repeated, repeatedly. The only thing GIFS can be accused of is being slow. We all know that things are taking a bit longer than we all would like and if this makes you uncomfortable then by all means sell and move on.
Now once and for all can everyone quit saying "There's much more amiss...." and "something must be wrong". This is crazy. Just think about it for one minute. How long have you been watching this stock, reading this thread, listening to the news. With all the news reporters digging up dirt on every imaginable subject don't you think if there was any dirt on GIFS you would have heard it from a reputable news source instead of someone on this thread using an alias. Get real people. There was one news article about a month ago that did contain some negative information about the guy running MotorSports. Shortly after this was released GIFS replaced him. Don't you see that the management team at GIFS took action as soon as they found out they had a problem. While this reporter was at GIFS don't you think she could have come up with something more negative if it was there?
Go back and look at Lee Ring's posts. Lee went to the GIFS headquarters in person and met with Mohamed. I repeatedly asked Lee to post what he found. All he would say is everything was fine. Lee did sell out last week and he was not happy taking a loss but he did not trash GIFS on the way out. Once again he said nothing. If he had found something negative I could see him waiting until he sold to tell everyone. Now he has sold and he has said nothing.
Now if Lee did not find anything when visiting the company in person and there has been nothing negative from a reputable news agency then maybe, just maybe, nothing at all is amiss. There is no doubt that we need some volume. There is no doubt that I want the price to rise. There is no doubt that I wish GIFS would move along a little faster. But none of these things mean something is amiss.
Can all the negative garbage (I call it garbage because NONE of it, NONE, can be substantiated.) on this thread effect the stock price? Absolutely!
For example, (I know some of you will want to debate this but), was anything really going on at Food Lion. NO. ABC created a story where none existed and look what happen to Food Lion's stock. It tanked. Now if ABC is willing to make up stuff about Food Lion don't you think some energetic, young, cub reporter would be dying to get the scoop on GIFS is something was going on. And don't you think with all the negative hype on SI that it is scaring people out of there positions. Of coarse it is. Go back and read some of the posts of people who have left. They did so out of fear. Now if GIFS is only being talked about here what do you think scared them away.
Six months ago there was a lot of cheer leading going on but that isn't happening any more. There are 10 to 1 negative posts here to positive. These posts are just sour grapes. If/when GIFS takes off all the sour grapes will be forgotten and we will have cheer leading once again. I frankly do not like hype good or bad. I like dealing with the facts. Regardless of what the stock price is doing the facts ARE as Pat and GJC have posted them. If you can not trust what management is telling you then sell your stock and move on.
I trust them. They haven't given me any reason to mistrust them. Until they do I'm long on GIFS. |
