Bearded one, I agree with you on Netscape being a threat. I called it AOL since they took over Netscape. Your good buddy ToySoldier thought it was the least of the techs that posed a threat to Microsoft. AOL is a minor threat now as AT&T takeover of AOL rumor was false.
Imagine having control over cable access with Navigator as the browser. Sooner or later---Windows would be less important. THat is why I believe the vast MSFT applications software are as important to Microsoft as Windows (in today's environment).
