Chris, balance sheets, products etc... they're all very important but if marketing strategy and continued product development don't continue, your sunk-you know that. Look at Microsoft. There was an interesting article in this Monday's IBD that narrates the continued fight between netscape and Microsoft. Netscape still has the upper hand now. What you are telling me is that in this caes, to draw an analogy, why should Microsoft care about Netscape? They've got all these products, old and new, why worry. Ans: Everyone is out to hammer the other guy. There is no time to relax. O'k so Zenith has these two new products. What happens after that? They haven't cornered any markets
Take a look at that stock IDID. Everybody is so wild on that thing but did you know that NRI has secured a deal with the human resources I believe in New York and a few other states utilizing the same product. IDID will get hammered because management couldn't get the financing to produce and market the product in time. Kim Edwards will give those zip drives away to IBM to secure that deal. It's his approach. I don't see that with ZE, YET. Maybe they will show that killer instinct but the old saying, "you can't change a leopards spots" will probably prevail.
For the shareholders sake, I hope everyone who owns it makes a killing! I really do. I may step in a catch a wave or two but I'm not convinced, product aside, they have turned things around yet.
