1King:

The Hutchinson paper that Charters couldn't find is - Robinson and Hutchinson, 1982, Evidence for a volcanogenic-exhalative origin of a massive nickel sulphide deposit at Redstone, Timmins, Ontario. You can find the paper in Precambrian Sulphide Deposits (H.S. Robinson Memorial Volume) edited by Hutchinson, Spence and Franklin. It was published by the GAC as Special Volume #25 and the paper can be found on pages 211-254.

Enjoy!

With regard to the orientation of the deposit, I concur with you evaluation that the potential for a deposit in this prospect probably lies along its strike/plunge direction (NE-SW) as indicated by the geophysics and the geology.
