I thought your analysis sounds as if it is written by a value investor and not one who tolerates the volatility, albeit, higher returns that you can get in growth investing. Your .com name indicates you are selling an investment philosophy and approach.
I beg to differ. I agree that valuationj based investing has its merits and its day will come back, it always does. But I strongly disagree that your inference that investing in the fastest growing companies at higher than historical pe ratios is imprudent.....
as a fellow advisor, I would consider myself to be delinquent in my responsibilities, if I completely stuck with the underperforming value stocks and disregarded the high growth, high valuations that one has in every single company which is leading the marketplace in businesses that are growing faster than the avg. company in the s&p
