Hi guys! I came lurking over here just to see if this topic was being discussed, and both you and V-man are all over it. Jeff, you are correct -- given enough ommph, they could launch on anything. But. The Proton, for all practical purposes, is the only game in town because of the orbit. You CDRD longs should take note of that. Not trying to scare you, but what happened to GSTRF with the Zenit, and then trying to shuffle over to the Soyuz, and then the US State Dept, etc. etc. wasn't pretty. If there is a crumbling of politics between Russia and the US It will take a good while to reassemble a launch schedule. Stay long, but as launch gets closer, hedge your position.
