PnF Posse Rule 2:
The usage of someone else's disclaimer is prohibited. This in effect completely disables
the insane creative process and lowers the moral of those trying to be the before
mentioned insanely creative. Or something like that. MPH can write up the officia legalese.

Chaper 1.

Sec. 1000. Title
This chapter may be cited as the P & F Posse Anti-Morale Impinging Act of 1999.

Sec. 1001. Purpose
The enactors of this Act have found that widespread plagiarism of certain words and phrases created by posters on the Point & Figure Charting thread of Silicon Investor has jeopardized the morale of P& F'ers and/or otherwise threatens to undermine creativity and/or the free flow of ideas. In order to control such practices and to enhance the willingness of posters to be creative, this Act was enacted.

Sec.1002. Definitions
As used in the Act:
(a) P&F Thread means that certain discussion thread on Silicon Investor entitled Point & Figure Charting.
(b) Disclaimer means any word or phrase designed to qualify and/or otherwise modify the content of any opinion expressed by a poster on the P&F Thread.
(c) Poster means any person or entity who posts public messages on the P&F Thread.
(d)Post means any public message posted on the P&F Thread and does not include private messages.
(e)Originating Poster means the person who created the given disclaimer.
(f)License means the written license referenced in Section 1004 of this chapter.

Section 1003. Prohibited Use of Disclaimers
It shall be a violation of this Act for any poster to utilize in a post any disclaimer of an originating poster without first obtaining a license to do so, as provided in Section 1004 of this chapter.

Section 1004. Licensing Requirements
(a) Should any poster desire to incorporate into a post any disclaimer of an originating poster, that poster shall first obtain a written license from the orginating poster in substantially the following terms:
I (insert name of originating poster) hereby grant to (insert name of requesting poster) a license to use my disclaimer (insert full text of disclaimer to be licensed) for the period of (insert exact dates of licensed term).

(b) No license granted pursuant to subpart (a) of Section 1004 shall be for a term of less than 10 days nor more than 30 days.
(c) All licenses obtained pursuant to subpart (a) of Section 1004 shall be posted on the P&F Thread by the orginating poster and the poster to whom the license was granted shall include the link to the license on each post utilizing the licensed disclaimer.

(d) Licenses granted pursuant to subpart (a) of Section 1004 may be renewed for successive terms not to exceed 90 days.

Section 1005. Penalties for Non-Compliance
