In the April issue of Liberty magazine there is an article about a lawsuit victory against the FDA. The US Court of Appeals in DC reversed an earlier decision saying that the FDA's requirements for health-claim approval process were unconstitutional under the First Amendment. (The article is not available online yet and is copywritten so I can't post it here.) This ruling as I understand it will allow companies to include on the labels of products, communication of studies that indicate positive results of use of the product. (The specific example used in the trial was the study that indicated that low doses of aspirin could reduce risk of heart attack.) I read this as being very positive news both for individuals and for companies like PRLN.

(The article is very interesting, as are others in Liberty. Its well worth the $4.)
