I really haven't made a study of other religions apart from getting started as a Catholic and where that has lead. I have looked into the new age, only because some friends I had encouraged me to, especially a girlfriend. Oddly she had a reading from a spiritist (or whatever you would call him) that predicted her involvement with me.

I guess on the subject of Jesus, you either believe the bible or don't. I can't see that any other writings have any more authority than the Bible. There is no reason that they should either. They were also written by men. At least the bible was written by men inspired by God, at least that's what I was taught. Works for me too!

I tend to doubt that Jesus was ever in India. There was not time before His death to go there, study, come back and get crucified. More to the point though, traveling that distance at that time in history was very unlikely. Did the middle easterners at that time even know that India existed? I doubt it myself. Marco Polo didn't travel to China until 1200 years later and that was unheard of at that time.
