David, SLM is definitely still on acquisition trail (which has scared away some of the intial investors who bought in at IPO price). Suggest you give Eddie Law at SLM a call (their CFO and the one who hosts the earnings conference calls to analysts)... ...there's no question in my mind that this is an excellent long term play: just how long, I'm not sure. But they have been very successful at making their (many) acqusitions profitable in a 2-quarter timeframe, which is not an easy task. As for their long-range plans, Eddie will be able to provide you with more (accurate) info than I ever could. Ask him for an investor kit to be mailed to you which should give you some valuable background. I remain very bullish on this company, but you should really speak with the company itself to get a comfort level. Cheers, NOK
