I like this page at SGI. Doing more homework on Nine I came across this link
sgi.com. For all price is a consideration in a purchase. The comments on this page I'd suggest make it clear that Nine should have little difficulty in selling many, many, many Solution Packs.
I like this one. BusinessWeek November 16, 1998-Flat Panels That Won't Flatten Your Budget "Monitor makers say that the 'jaggies' disappear as you step up from an XGA to a superXGA monitor. To experience that firsthand, I sampled Silicon Graphics Inc.'s much-praised digital 1600SW model--the same 17-incher that Microsoft Chairman William H. Gates III ordered for his desktop. The picture quality made me want to jump into the screen."
I like this one also. ZDTV September 29, 1998- "Silicon Graphics new 1620x1024 LCD panel, powered by a new digital graphics card from Number Nine, delivers the clearest, crispest, and most precise color of any flat panel we've seen."
I like this one. VAR Business September 29, 1998- "Flat-panel displays have become a hot item among monitor vendors for their lack of flicker and compact form factor. Although I found the sleek, space-age, thin designs to be interesting and attractive, I hadn't seen one to make me say, 'I've got to have it' until this bundle came along."
There are more great comments at the above link.
