<<Why do you think Paula Jones will dump her husband now? Is
it the money? The nose job? The fame? >>

I think people tend to try to do the best they can when mating. They don't make a decision to do this, their genes whisper to them, "Get him, get him, (or her), he's the best who's likely to be willing to tie up with you!" or something like that. It's called falling in love, or at least it's called sexual attraction.

The universe of possible partners from whom Paula Jones chose her original mate was a much much smaller one than the universe she will now be able to scan with a curious eye and, oh dear!-- aching loins! And how could her loins not ache, when she is being paid attention to by men who were so inaccessible to her before she became beautiful and famous, and maybe the 200,000 thousand dollars she has left after the settlement, which will be taxed, isn't much, but she will have other opportunities, and if she does, and circulates in a bigger pond, the chances are that, against her every vow and principle, she will... fall in love with someone of higher 'rank' than the husband she attained in her former incarnation.

I'm not saying it will happen; the children make a difference; I'm just saying it is likely to happen, imo. Of course she will say that the strain of what she has been through is responsible, would be my guess.

And I still don't think I'm cynical! I just think I've kept my eyes open.

Marriages don't always break up when a world of new sexual opportunity opens to one of the partners. There are many accommodations. Just taking lovers is one. I understand that Dolly Parton never left her husband when she 'made it.'-- he was willing to let her screw her head off on the road and come home to him from time to time, I read someplace. Worked for them.
