Here's a review of Tanner's cuisine that was published on 10/4/97:

Can someone who has been to a Tanner's restaurant comment on this please? It's not exactly an excellent review, but the same site summarizes the review as follows:

Rick Tanner's Original Rotisserie Grill has made its reputation principally on chicken, but there's more to its menu than poultry. Newly introduced is barbecue pork ribs and sandwiches, and there are so many possibilities for combining these -- not to mention the option of salads, sandwiches, burgers and special platters -- that it might be easy to overlook the chili, which would be a mistake. There are two varieties: Tanner's Texas Chili and Southeastern Chicken Chili. The Southeastern Chicken version comes stuffed with ingredients: black beans, chicken, corn, cheese. (And possibly, green chilies and zucchini -- there are so many things, it's hard to tell.) It's topped off, literally as well as gastronomically, with a cascade of chopped scallions that lend crispness and zing to the proceedings.
