EXPECTED EARNINGS REPORT DATE: SGHT: STARSIGHT TCAST is expected to report earnings for its fiscal quarter ending 12/96 on 02/13/97. The Zacks consensus estimate of earnings per share for SGHT's 12/96 quarter is $-0.25. GMSTF: GEMSTAR INTL is expected to report earnings for its fiscal quarter ending 12/96 on 01/29/97. The Zacks consensus estimate of earnings per share for GMSTF's 12/96 quarter is $0.14. I too think this is any interesting stock to watch. I bought it at a discount as starsight hoping that the merger would take place late Feb to early March. I am uncomfortable with both company's performance in this rescent euphoria and hope that I will hang on until the merger. Let's see how those earnings look.
