Milehigh, concerning Rambus'future... I enjoyed the article on Sony v. Microsoft. With all the new hardware designs contemplated, including control "boxes" with all the power of a PC, but which would be designed to allow coordinated control of all home activity devices, where does Rambus fit in. Should not all these designs require significant memory, especially since they utilize "hard drives" for software and application performance. Shouldn't the bus have a meaningful role in these sophisticated designs?
