If AMD book to bill ratio is really above 1.0 for March then they will most likely have more revenue this quarter than last. If they have a loss with a ratio above 1.0 it must be because their cost is increasing. This increasing cost is possibly an increased "cost of sales" due to building and shipping more parts or more costly to produce parts than in the past.
