Drew:

Next week Frontier could decide that all future customers would get sold Comcast's local cellular. (Comcast and Bell Atlantic have compatible AMPS systems with incompatible digital systems (TDMA and CDMA, respectively).) I want both of them promoting GlobalStar services, regardless of what it is called.

The point is, neither of these companies will promote G*. I shouldn't say that exactly--BAM will likely promote G* as they are teamed with AirTouch, and thus Frontier would promote it as well. Otherwise, Airtouch has exclusive rights--in other parts of the world, it will be Vodafone, or France Telecom, or Loral, or ???? This is not a service for everyone!

I can't answer the Sprint question, but that's a good question.
