I have to agree with Jay on the SGI/Number Nine combo. SGI's road show came to my work and had them on display. We just ordered 4 SGI NT Visual Workstations with the flat screens.

Not quite as big as you mentioned you needed but their resolution is so much better than the current generation of flat screens that they seem bigger. You can also put two cards in on machine and have a huge virtual screen (drag windows from one monitor to the other).

You've got to use the Number Nine card with it, though (the rest of the industry uses a different interconnect standard). Also, the card comes in either PCI or AGP versions (the kind of slot it goes in).
