Glen, Gary and Dan--thanks for the great replies. Excellent points to consider. I'd like to watch the chart a bit more and give it some thought. Barring something dramatic, I'm sure I'll take a position at some point. For all the risks, what can I say, this one strikes me as a "fun" stock to own. I love great ideas in the marketplace and they got one. I mentioned the word "scam" in my earlier post because, in my mind, that's about the only way this great concept will fail.
Geez, I remember when they announced that MTEI had stopped trading. Apparently that coal mine didn't exist or, if it did, it wasn't owned by Mountain Energy. I don't know, but my heart went out to all those who owned stock and basically saw the value go straight to zero in a heartbeat. Yes, I might be over-doing the concern here, but if anyone ever posts one of those, "I just stopped by the company offices" posts, that will help out. So I guess we need to recruit someone from Seattle to join the thread <g>.
Also, my mind may change a bit depending on the news I see. Wasn't someone saying news would be out on Monday? Or maybe that was a reference to the March 5 PR.
Thanks and I'm sure I'll drop by again, Chris
P.S. Dan, re. "Where did you get the idea about Cool being a Nevada company?" Earlier in the thread there was an old PR posted about the gold company:
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 14, 1998--Minas Novas Gold Corp. (OTC BB:MNGD - news), a Nevada corporation, today announced that it has entered into negotiations to acquire natural gas prospects in Texas and Kansas. |
