Leo I would say that judging your investing on one position would in fact be an unwise thing to do. I don't have a great memory but your name stuck with me from the SIII thread in '97. Your opinions were a good example of cheer leading. I hope you have learned your lesson and will give some respect to opposite minded.
As to my quote I do not see a contradiction. The trend is down if you look at charts only then review other indexes not only S&P and DOW.
Look at the A/D chart and you might be surprised.

Have you checked the fundamentals on DELL? What you think and why would you give it even larger valuations?
DELL does have a good management unlike SIII (although you thought that I was full of it when I raised that issue) but they are selling.

What makes you think that DELL has up momentum?

You have made some good calls after SIII but you might get burned here again.
