More on DCT In checking at Ampex's home page, DCT is in fact a registered tradmark of Ampex Inc. From their web site: ampex.com "The unequaled quality of DCT(R) image processing makes it the finest available source for compression of movies, episodic television, and other video programs and for archiving as well as delivery via broadcast." The product description then continues with a discussion of DCT(R) tape drives and ends off with the top unit being a DCT1700d. What is this with a DCT-5000 set top unit from General Instrument? Is this an inadvertence on the part of the author, GI or is it a faux pas tip off of something to be? Tomorrow's trading should be very interesting. Ed Perry
