It will be interesting to see what happens with Paula Jones and her husband. Paula strikes me as socially conservative and kind of a straight arrow in the sense of her integrity and general moral values. While I agree with you about the general way mates are selected, it seems to me that if she were going to make a switch, it might have been before now. On the other hand, she is not a Republican and has never even voted, so the far right politicos who were using her may not have much appeal for her, and vice versa. It does seem that she would have found a lot more available men living on the beach in Santa Monica than she will when she completes her planned move back to Beebe, Arkansas. And she may stay with her husband because he stuck with her through several difficult years, which is quite endearing, having been through a similar situation myself where I found my husband surprisingly, touchingly loyal.
Is there something wrong with Paula getting new hair and makeup, and a nose job? Really, it costs $5,000 or less, not a huge amount of money. Why does this bother so many people? I wonder if for some of them, it is because it is no longer so easy to smear her with derogatory 'white trash" smears. |
