Several alerts this morning, most significant is that VLSI lowered the threshold for its defense, (assume poison pill) to 10% from 20%). Co did say it was reviewing the phillips proposal with "an open mind" i'm sure more details will surface. I would take this as building up the fortress around VLSI. let the games continue. larry
